Priceless artifacts and memorabilia were destroyed, leaving no written records prior to 1969. But, the members would not be defeated and once again started from scratch. This current building opened it's doors on September 20, 1971. Branch 16, like other branches of the Legion, has seen many changes in recent years with the passing of time and comrades.
